Venkat Subramanian ,Founder / COO

Venkat , oversees the strategy, operations and technology areas of efarm . He also likes to teach , write and  mentor students. Venky did his Undergraduation from IIT, Kharagpur in B.Arch and his Master in Computer Science from Univeristy at Albany, NY. Prior to starting efarm , he has held techno-commercial roles for various IT firms across the globe.

Srivalli Krishnan ,Co-Founder / CEO

Srivalli , (code named ‘Valli-The Boss’) , heads Sales & Marketing , Finance and Customer Relationship . She is passionate about social ventures , women’s SHGs and creating employment for differently abled and under privileged. She is an internet-junkie  and when not working at efarm , can often be found at facebook’s farmville .Srivalli did her MBA from ICFAI and B.Com from Bangalore University.Prior to eFarm , she had worked for  over 8 years in leading MNCs such as Accenture, TATA AIG , ICICI Bank , She  has run two start-ups and organized fund raising for NGOs as part of CSR programs.

Amruta P ,IT Project Director

Amrutha oversees all IT projects at eFarm . She also oversees all internship projects and mentor IT student projects.

Prior to eFarm she has worked as a IT consultant in US for 7 years. She did her MBA from LIBA, Chennai and B.Com from Ethiraj .

She balances her work and a 3 year old daughter ( a Lady Picasso in making) and her daughter's latest fancy - a toy terrier dog 'tintin' .

Rajendran G, Manager (Business Development)

Rajendran (code named ‘Just Dial’) is our one man communication nerve centre . He handles all customer calls, back office coordination and is personal admin to the CEO & COO. Though visually impaired from childhood, he uses technology tools like 'Jaws' and Nokia Visual Aid to operate basic PC tasks and mobile phone with perfect ease. He also has a certificate in teaching music from Music academy, Chennai and moonlights with the famous music group ‘Comakanan Ragapriya’ comprised of visually challenged musicians. He is also M.A in history.

Bhaskar Gupta/AVP Operations

Bhaskar manages the supply chain of the vegetables starting from receiving orders from the purchase department to delivering the material to the clients. He completed his post graduation in manufacturing and operations from SCMLD and Computer Engineering from MIT College, Pune. He’s full of energy; passionate about experimenting with new things. He loves working on the field rather than at a particular place. Bhaskar has dream to start a School for under privileged children. He also volunteered for Teach for India fellowship while pursuing his Post Graduation.

Preeti Gautam/AVP Finance

Preeti is in charge of finance and accounts. She did her post graduation in finance from SCMLD, Pune and B.Sc in Biology from Jiwaji University Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. When she is not counting beans (literally and figuratively) she is an avid Rangoli artist, and dabbles with sketching and photography.

Veena Bagree/AVP Human Resourcee

Veena is the ‘face’ of efarm and oversees all relationships – both internal staff and external organizations. She holds master’s degree in Human Resource from SCMLD, Pune. She is a firm believer of karma. She is passionate about teaching and has taught under privileged kids who do not get ample opportunities to grow in life. Her hobbies are playing badminton and listening to music.

Samuel J/AVP Technology

Samuel is in charge of all the technology development and support. He’s a B.Tech from Hindusthan college of Engineering and technology, Coimbatore. He has great interest in agri industry. He did his project at efarm and joined fulltime successively.

Vadivel S , Manager (Procurement)

Vadivel has over 30 years experience in the Chennai vegetable mandi and has worked with local traders and commission agents. He handles all local purchases and trader relations.

Swarnalipi

Swarnalipi is a foodie and oversees all food processing projects at eFarm. She also is in charge of our retail store - the K2J Army Store. She holds a masters degree in food technology from MOP Vaishnava College, Chennai. She did her internship at eFarm with commitment and enthusiasm, which she continued on as fulltime employee on completing her course.

Support Team

Munusamy ,Delivery Team Member

Munnu (code named ‘ Junior MD’) handles all daily deliveries . He had slight impairment in autism , but got trained at RASA school for Special Children and now works fulltime at eFarm.

Geetha , Delivery Team - member

Geetha (code named 'MonaLisa') is the ever smiling face of eFarm. Always bubbling with high energy and enthusiasm, she helps godown staff in daily operations . She was also affected with autism and was trained at RASA school for special children, and now fully integrated into our normal work force.
