eFarm launched its new online content portal today . The new portal would host various information and media related to eFarm's operations . This also signifies the change in the company structure and objectives from the earlier entity called 'Matchbox Solutions'.

eFarm was born as a project idea within Matchbox solutions, a technology consulting firm which focussed on varoius socio economic areas. As the need for a full fledged business entity to focus on agri supply chain was realised, the management team decided to focus all their energies in eFarm alone.

Thus eFarm was registered as private limited firm , to enable Farmers reach end markets through a IT enabled supply chain network. As the core vision of Matchbox, of combining social and business objectives to create sustainable ventures, was being fully realised through efarm , the entire team and services have now been rolled into eFarm .

The efarm.in web portal , besides being the prime source of information about the company's operations , would also host variety of content such as presentations, whitepapers, videos and training material . The online forums would provide the extended community of farmers, buyers, agri-entrepreneurs , NGOS and students to actively interact and exchange leads and ideas.
