With food security and agri-productivity becoming matters of urgent concern, tech ventures are using technology-enabled innovation to improve productivity, reduce wastage and help farmers save time.

Chennai's E-Farm, run by Venkat Subramanian and Srivalli Krishnan, is an end-to-end supply chain platform that uses technology to make agricultural distribution more sustainable and efficient. Fermentech Biologics has developed a high yield, low-cost animal feed called Nutri Bran, which can be used for aqua culture, poultry, dairy and meat animals. The company claims that the product can improve yields by 30%.
